amsight is among the winners of the prestigious Digital Innovation Startup Competition’ in Germany!

In the prestigious 'Digital Startup Competition' (Gründungswettbewerb Digitale Innovationen), amsight secured an award of € 7,000 and received coaching budget from Germany's Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK).

• The Digital Innovation Startup Competition is organized by BMWK of Germany with the aim of recognizing and supporting innovative startups based on digital technologies.
• The jury was impressed by amsight's data-driven software solution for Additive Manufacturing, which features a complete digital twin of the AM process chain and comprehensive process optimization capabilities.
• By participating in the awards ceremony, amsight gained networking opportunities with other startups and potential investors.

‍HAMBURG, Germany, April 25th, 2024 – amsight GmbH, a provider of software for data management and analytics for Additive Manufacturing (AM), is proud to be among the winners of the prestigious‘Digital Innovation Startup Competition’ (‘Gründungswettbewerb DigitaleInnovationen’).

Digital Innovation Startup Competition

The Digital Innovation Startup Competition is organized by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) in Germany. It aims to recognize the best ideas for innovative business startups based on digital technologies. Since its inception in 1997, around 500 startups have been honored, which collectively have secured € 600 million in venture capital. This year 21 startups have been awarded with a total of € 307,000 in prize money amsight, as one of the winners, has secured an award of € 7,000 as well as coaching budget.

amsight's innovative data-driven solution for Additive Manufacturing captured the attention of the jury, showcasing the company's commitment to pushing the boundaries of digital innovation in manufacturing. The CEO of the company, Dr.-Ing. Tim Wischeropp, states “We are thrilled to be recognized among such a competitive field of digital innovators”.

Among the key characteristics of amsight’s software that were highly valued by the jury were:

-         full digital twin of AM process chain in combination with data analytics capabilities.

-         a holistic process optimization is enabled in terms of costs, quality and resource efficiency that were previously not possible.
