Topic

This thesis focuses on standardizing, fusing, and visualizing data for 3D printing processes. You will evaluate methods to combine diverse data formats into a unified dataset and develop effective visualization techniques. These approaches will be tested on real 3D printing data. The goal is to improve data management and analysis in 3D printing, potentially enhancing print quality and efficiency. The project outcomes will include recommendations for data standardization, fusion methods, and visualization techniques for the 3D printing industry.

  • Research on suitable data fusion and visualization methods as well as data formats
  • Benchmarking of different data fusion and visualization methods on test data set
  • Selection of suitable method and validation
